Passing time instead doing
they're constantly screwing; leaving your souls and minds in ruin
what they doin' is so bloody wrong
so don't sing along to the "way of life song"
'cuz life aint no dream so stay awake for heaven's sake
heads + hearts'll break & death has work to undertake
but you have your own thing and no one's knowin'
cuz for the past of your life you've been hardly glowin' but now it's showin'
at least around the edges & pledges are being made as you yourself try to persuade
a better grade to be attained and maintained & a soul that won't be constrained
or abused or shamed
you're gonna shine cuz we're all stars in this constellation that's blessed by our presence & even the heaviest things will be dragged into themselves & not affect us but a super-ego will supernova ultimately
send it's possessor (and those who're close) much too quickly to Jehovah.
