Raymond S. Blunt Memorial Award


The Raymond S. Blunt Memorial Award was established to recognize an outstanding adult who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in serving youth. In an effort to make the judging as fair as possible,w e ask that this fact sheet be filled out about the candidate, along with a minimum of three and a maximum of ten letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from a current Key Clubber.

Award Criteria

  1. This adult demonstrates a genuine attitude of warmth, understanding and caring in the day-to-day dealings with Key Clubbers.

  2. Enthusiastically provides services to youth far about and beyond the call of duty.

  3. Brings distinction to him/herself, the local Key Club, and/or the District through his/her actions or performance in helping Key Club and its members.

(This award will be presented to an outstanding Faculty Advisor and a Kiwanis Advisor/other adult, therefore two awards may be given, one in each category.)
