We here at the Virtual Compendium (VC) hope that your visit here is as enjoyable as possible. And for that to happen, everyone needs to respect the rights and wishes of everyone else. In short, we need to use common sense and our best judgement. There aren't a great number of rules, but the ones we do have we'd like everyone to adhere to. If you read it here, and it isn't yours, don't put your name on it and try to pass it off as your own work. If you see something here in correctly credited, bring it to our attention ASAP.

Relationship with Writers

The Virtual Compendium will not pay, nor ask for money from, short story and anthology writers. This site does not claim to be a publisher, nor a literary agency. It buys no rights to the works featured on the site. Any work that is sold as a result of exposure from the site is a plus to the writer, but no remuneration to the site or its founders is expected. VC has the right to edit submissions.
